Kenya - pushing the boundaries
Had I misheard the location for our SS23 photoshoot - Kenya? Honestly, let’s just think about this for a moment - crew from New York, Models from Norway and London, Digitech and hair/makeup from Munich - oh and all product from our Yorkshire Head Office - as well as Head Office staff and some seriously expensive camera kit. What could possibly go wrong?
Fast forward 2 months and we arrived in Nairobi with all the crew, kit and most importantly the correct paperwork - let the adventure begin!
I recall a distinct air of great anticipation - for even the most die hard / seen-it-all photoshoot crew the prospect of a safari shoot in the Masai Mara was something really exciting.
We had the inevitable weather troubles - not enough sun, too much sun, the wrong clouds, too many clouds, too hot, too cold, rain - but all the locations we used were truly spectacular.
The Masai were the warmest and most fascinating people, welcoming us into their villages and sharing their traditions and lifestyle with us all. Equally they were similarly fascinated by what we were doing and hoping to achieve. We made some great new friends out there and memories to cherish forever.
The results are breathtaking and complement this collection perfectly. We hope you agree that all the preparation and planning certainly paid off.
