Chelsea in Bloom 2016: N.Peal Blossoms in the Carnival Spirit
Between the 23rd and 28th May 2016, one of London's most colourful and prestigious events, Chelsea in Bloom, will once again be returning to the streets and stores of Chelsea. Each year during the event, which is produced in partnership with Cadogan Estates and the Royal Horticultural Society, Chelsea is transformed by stunning, elaborate and colourful floral displays, and the top retailers in the area adorn their store fronts with breathtaking floral creations in a bid to win a prestigious prize.
With an N.Peal store located at in Chelsea at 149 Sloane Street, we are always so excited to participate in Chelsea in Bloom, and in 2015 we were delighted to have been presented with a Bronze award for our display. The theme last year was 'Fairy Tales', and inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's 'Butterfly' tale, our staff at the 149 Sloane Street store created a beautiful window display with colourful plants and butterflies, with our 100% Mongolian cashmere shawl hand-painted with butterflies as its centrepiece.

The Carnival arrives at our Chelsea store
This year, the theme for Chelsea in Bloom 2016 is 'Carnival', inspired by this summer's upcoming Rio 2016 Olympics. As you would expect, we have created a window display for our 149 Sloane Street store that is going to be big, bold and breathtakingly beautiful!
Inspired by the colours and flowers of Brazil, our floral display features vibrant yellow sunflowers and exquisite, multi-coloured birds of paradise flowers and palm leaves, arranged in large baskets to look like exotic fresh pineapples. Taking cues from the inimitable Carmen Miranda, our window mannequin has been adorned with a bright traditional feathered Carnival dancer's headdress to compliment her Superfine Wrap Cashmere Dress, and we also have many more of our most colourful cashmere pieces on display for yet more bursts of Brazilian-inspired colour.
The Carnival theme continues inside our Chelsea store, as every visitor to our store during the Chelsea in Bloom event is invited to enjoy a glass of prosecco served with delicious refreshing pineapple slices. Not only that, but in-store we are offering 20% off some of our key pieces from the Spring Summer 2016 collection, which we will tell you more about below.

When you visit the N.Peal Chelsea store during the week of Chelsea in Bloom 2016, you can take 20% off all of our 100% Mongolian Cashmere Pashminas and Ultrafine Cashmere Shawls. That includes our stunning Tree Hand Painted Cashmere Shawl, which with its bold pink background and delicate yet eye-catching trees design, also features in our Chelsea in Bloom floral window display.
We are also presenting yet more of the most colourful pieces from our Spring Summer 2016 men's and women's cashmere collection, and you can discover our vibrant new shades, including Neon Orange, Parrot Red, Aqua Green and Cobalt Blue. All of these fabulous shades are evocative of the dazzling colours of Brazilian Carnivals, and we believe that our window display complements them perfectly.
