N.Peal at Chelsea Flower Show

This year, we unveiled 'Under The Eternal Blue Sky', a special installation created in collaboration with artists John & George Everiss for Chelsea in Bloom, in our Sloane Street store. Rooted in the landscapes and traditions of Mongolia, the piece drew inspiration from the nomadic cashmere goat herders whose lives remain deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and the night sky. Designed as an immersive interpretation of the Mongolian horizon, the installation featured angular charred plywood forms that rose and fell like mountainous terrain. Carved into the structure were petroglyph-inspired figures, symbolising the herders navigating vast open landscapes guided only by celestial markers above them. Suspended within the space, the Doloon Burhan constellation, known as the ‘Seven Gods’, illuminated the symbolic blue cashmere sky. In Mongolian cosmology, these seven stars are revered as protective deities and guardians of life, land and livestock, representing an enduring connection between earth and cosmos. Together, the installation told a story of navigation, protection and craftsmanship, connecting the origins of cashmere to the landscapes and traditions from which it comes.

We are proud to share that Under The Eternal Blue Sky received the prestigious ‘Highly Commended’ accolade, recognising the installation as one of the standout creative displays of this year’s Chelsea in Bloom celebrations. The award reflects not only the artistry of John & George Everiss, but also the powerful story behind the installation and its connection to the heritage, culture and craftsmanship that continue to inspire the world of N.Peal.

Judged by a panel of industry experts, awards are presented to installations that demonstrate exceptional originality, storytelling and execution across the neighbourhood’s boutiques, brands and retailers.
