The beauty of living in Europe is that there is so much culture on your doorstep. Paris

The city of love, Paris is the perfect place to whisk that special someone off to, whether that’s your significant other or platonic soulmate. Enjoy coffee and a croissant Parisian style at one of the city’s many outdoor cafes, then stroll along to the Louvre to stare in awe at some of the most amazing artwork in the world, from renaissance drawings to the Mona Lisa. Once you’ve finished, you can go see the glorious Eiffel Tower from a traditional French restaurant whilst you enjoy escargot and a glass of red wine.

London

The capital of England, London is the epicentre of some of the greatest culture Europe has to offer. Corsica 

Among the best European beach holidays, you’ll find Corsica. A French island situated on the Mediterranean coast, Corsica is nicknamed the Island of Beauty for its stunning coastline and landscapes, from quaint villages and turquoise waters, to dramatic mountains and hidden coves. There are plenty of things to do, whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a family holiday. Discover the island’s great outdoors by taking a long walk or hike on one of the many trails, or go scuba diving in the crystal clear waters. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars and food experiences to choose from once you’ve finished your outdoor activities, such as juicy Corsican clementines, deli style meats like Coppa and Lonzu, alongside wine tours where you can enjoy some of the region's specialities.

Barcelona 

Barcelona is dubbed one of the best destinations in Europe for many reasons. But our favourite is that it’s a city break that doubles as a beach holiday. Located on the north east coast of the Iberian Peninsula, Barcelona is a melting pot of food, architecture, art and culture. Stroll along the famous Las Ramblas and eat local delicacies in La Boquería, or enjoy a sangria - or three - whilst relaxing on the beach. If sunning it up gets too much for you, however, there is so much culture to enjoy, including Gaudí’s architecture and Park Güell and Picasso museum. And not to mention, your trip isn’t complete without trying some of the delicious tapas the city has to offer. 

Lisbon

Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is famous for many things. Most notably, however, it’s food, nightlife, architecture and family-like hospitality - making it the perfect city break. Home to lots of places to see, do and stay, Lisbon can definitely be a cheap European holiday if you’re on more of a budget, too. If you’re a foodie, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, including a plethora of places putting their own take on a Portuguese delicacy, Bacalhau. There’s also tours to learn about the city's culture and heritage, museums, sports and river cruises, alongside cool cafes and beaches for when you want to keep things relatively low key. 

Berlin

The capital of Germany, Berlin is a buzzing city full of history, culture and a unique nightlife. Home to around 300 art galleries, making it the largest gallery scene in Europe, it’s perfect for those wanting to immerse themselves in new art, whether it be contemporary or classical. In addition to this, Berlin also has many famous tourist attractions, such as the Berlin wall and East Side Gallery, the Berlin TV Tower and the Brandenburg gate. When you get hungry from all of the sightseeing, you can enjoy a traditional currywurst or Wiener Schnitzel, then for those who are brave enough, experience the exclusive and underground clubbing scene that the city is known for. 

Budapest

Budapest is the capital city of Hungary and sits alongside the country’s largest river, the Danube. It’s home to amazing culture, buzzing nightlife and traditional cuisine. Most notably, though, Budapest is known for its thermal baths that are built on natural springs and situated throughout the city. It is said that the water helps you to stay healthy and also treat ailments. If swimming isn’t your fancy, however, the city is also home to many historic churches, including St.Stephen's Basilica, alongside  plenty of museums to soak up some culture. And to finish, it’s not a trip to Budapest without trying their famous Goulash soup, or visiting one of the ruin pubs for a dance.
